I’m a Brooklyn-based writer, copywriter and communication strategist. There’s a good chance you’ve read my writing, which has appeared at outlets such as GQ, Refinery29, Well-Spent (RIP), FOX Sports, the Salt Lake Tribune, the SF-Bay Guardian and Heddels, among others. As a communications strategist, I’ve created campaigns for a wide range of clients — including Gucci, Mara Hoffman, RCA, No Plastic Waste, Welcome.US, the Yoga Alliance, CeaseFirePA, Open Philanthropy, Vital Strategies, Vaunt, the Mellon Foundation, NYCLU and others — in addition to leading full organizational rebrands, website overhauls and event communication strategies. As a copywriter, I’ve worked in both fashion, formerly writing thousands of product descriptions and hundreds of newsletters for Unionmade Goods, and in advertising, handling everything from script-writing to OOH assets to social copy to press release work and just about everything in between. Additionally, I’ve provided brand consulting for numerous clothing brands over the years in a contractor capacity, applying my ability to translate complex, nuanced or otherwise inscrutable ideas and concepts into digestible and engaging content — making the pedantic accessible, even sought after.

Select Strategy and Copy:

Gucci Changemakers: Produced and wrote a :60 spot for Gucci’s Changemaker initiative, structured for an additional two :30s, five :10s and multiple stills to be pulled retroactively. Directed by Bon Duke, written and casted by myself.

CeaseFirePA: Worked with CeaseFirePA, a gun violence prevention coalition, to rebrand the entire organization in a manner that better reflected the work they do, while also mirroring the politically and demographically diverse communities they serve.

The Minderoo Foundation: planned and wrote copy for both captions and assets on a campaign called “No Plastic Waste,” in addition to providing creative and content strategy for the campaign’s larger projects — generating millions of views and earning tens of thousands of followers.

Mara Hoffman: led communications on website relaunch, including tone and voice strategy, web copy, copy templates and narrative direction, creating the communications portion of the brand guide for the company to use going forward, while also authoring the initial journal posts to create a strong foundation for the new tone.
